Great for the money

I’ve had many bongos. I found myself in a pinch so I turned to Bulk Buy Outlet for something viable. I took this drum apart to see the flaws. The shells on the macho and hembra are flawless. Actually a beautiful red hue and with a nice clear coat finish.
The hoops and the bottom rings have imperfections, but they shouldn’t and have not impacted its usability and shouldn’t unless you abuse it.
The main issue with these drums are the heads. They are too flexible because of the processed skin and very susceptible to humidity. I had to tune it 5 times over a 3-hour period while playing at an outside venue at night.
I am waiting for Remo synthetic heads which should eliminate that problem and should sound great. Good luck.
